Continental’s Sprinter is light enough for serious racing, yet strong and durable enough for use as a training tire, too. Handmade in Germany, it’s equipped with 3 layers of proprietary polyamide in the casing to deliver outstanding puncture protection. Plus, the Sprinter is rated for inflation pressures up to 170 psi so it’s ridiculously fast.

Black Chili rubber compound

Continental’s Black Chili rubber compound improves every ride through the use of microscopic carbon nanoparticles to increase traction, decrease rolling resistance, and extend the life of your tires.

SafetySystem puncture protection

Made up of Kevlar-reinforced, high-strength nylon fabric, the SafetySystem protects against cuts and punctures but remains light and flexible. It provides a bit of extra comfort and a longer lifespan for the tire as well.

This is a tubular tire (“sew-up”)

Tubular tires are compatible with tubular rims and are installed with glue or a special adhesive tape. Tubular tires will not work on clincher rims (the standard rim type). If you have any questions about compatibility or mounting, please contact us for details.
